Forest Road | Ride | Pale Ale (4.6%) | London (Vegan + Gluten Free)
The Brewery: At Forest Road, they keep it real. No big investors or corporate ties. They started brewing in an East London garden (well worth checking out their 'About Us' video on their website - narrated by Jack Whitehall of all people). They've always focused on crafting top-quality beer and went all the way to America to get their recycled brew kit - serious dedication. Incredible stuff - incredible beers!
The Beer: Fresh scents of passion fruit burst will burst from the can as you take your first sip. On the tongue, vibrant carbonation heightens the fruity notes, enhanced by subtle sweetness and a hint of warmth. The finale? Zesty lemon and a satisfying dry, crisp bitterness. Delicious!
Jiddler's Tipple | Bog Standard Lager | Session Vienna Lager (3.8%) | London (Vegan + Gluten Free)
The Brewery: As well as their nifty retro shirt pattern labels - this brewery and its founder Jacob Liddle (The Jiddler) have an incredible story. He launched Jiddler's Tipple in October 2019 to create perfectly balanced, delicious, session strength (3.8%) craft beer and has done just that. Plus they're Carbon Neutral - pretty cool right?
The Beer: Do not be fooled by its name - the 'Bog Standard' is anything but. This sessionable yet flavourful lager has toasty aromas and a hint of earthy spice from the noble hops used. It has a special bitter, dry and moreish flavour that will leave you wanting another.
Big Hug | Juicy | American Pale Ale (4%) | London (Not Vegan + Not Gluten Free)
The Brewery: Big Hug champions the fact that they're a cuckoo brewery - this is a brewery that brews using another brewery's brewkit. London-born but Brighton at heart, they have the mantra that craft beer is for everyone. Brewing at Portobello Brewery, they enjoy crafting beers they love and joining in among the craft beer movement. They're always pushing the boundaries and that's why we love them!
The Beer: A hop-forward, sessionable pale ale. Balanced malts, low bitterness, and loads of Mosaic and Chinook hops offer a fruity aroma with notes of citrus, peach, and pine. Smooth texture from oats, wheat, and barley, all packaged up in a sessionable 4% ABV beer. Let's have another please.

Forest Road | Posh | Helles (4.1%) | London (Vegan + Gluten Free)
The Brewery: With Forest Road, what you see is what you get. We don’t have big investors. We’re not owned by a multinational corporation. We started on a tiny kit in an East London backyard, and we’ve grown through hard work. What we work hardest at is the quality of our beer. When we heard that one of the world’s greatest breweries - Russian River in Northern California - was selling its brewhouse, we knew we had to get our hands on it. We worked night and day to raise the cash, sailed it through the Panama Canal and now it has a new home, here in London. We think you’ll agree it was worth the effort when you taste our beer.
The Beer: An all-British lager, 100% UK hops and barley, brewed locally in SE14. This beer is a lively character with visible carbonation, a pale straw appearance and a fresh, malty aroma with hints of citrus. Enjoy the refreshing essence of this classic lager, crafted by people who go the extra mile.
